It is designed for performance builds, header installations, manifold replacement, turbo or supercharger projects, and high-mileage VQ engines where factory hardware may be seized, corroded, or no longer suitable for reuse.

Tools Required

• 4 mm hex bit for manifold studs
• 9/16-inch 12-point socket for the supplied manifold hardware
• 12 mm 6-point socket for the lower two bolts

Installation Note

Exhaust manifold access is labor-intensive on many VQ platforms. Professional installation is recommended unless the installer has the proper tools and experience. Use appropriate high-temperature anti-seize where required and follow the correct torque procedure for the vehicle and installed header or manifold.
