Product Details

The MagnaFlow 23089 is engineered as a direct-fit catalytic converter specifically for the 1993-1995 Volkswagen EuroVan, replacing the OE part number 023 131 701 GX. This unit is designed to meet or exceed Federal emissions standards set by the EPA, ensuring compliance for pre-OBDII Federally registered vehicles.

Constructed from high-quality stainless steel, the 23089 features a compact, low-mass design that promotes thermal efficiency. The single laser fusion weld minimizes leak potential, while the free-flowing mandrel-bent tubing enhances exhaust flow. Installation is straightforward with no cutting or welding required, making it a practical choice for DIY enthusiasts.

To ensure a proper seal and avoid exhaust leaks, the included gaskets should be utilized during installation. This catalytic converter comes with all necessary mounting hardware and hangers, facilitating a hassle-free setup.
