MagnaFlow OEM Grade Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter 49220 for Chevrolet Equinox 2005-2009, Pontiac Torrent 2006-2009, Stainless Steel

OEM Grade Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter

Alright, let’s talk about this direct-fit catalytic converter. If you’re looking to replace your old one on your Chevy Equinox (2005-2009) or Pontiac Torrent (2006-2009), this is the part you need. It’s designed to fit just like the original, so you won’t be messing around with any modifications or weird adjustments. Just bolt it on and you’re good to go.

What Makes It Stand Out

• Material: Made from durable stainless steel—this thing is built to last.
• Main Piping Diameter: It’s got a solid 2.5-inch diameter, which helps with exhaust flow and keeps your engine running smoothly.
• Oxygen Sensor Location: The sensor is right after the converter, just like it should be, so you won’t have any pesky check engine lights popping up.
• Finish: The stainless steel finish not only looks good but also helps resist corrosion, which is a big deal if you live in a place where roads get salted in winter.
• Type: This is a direct-fit type, meaning no hassle during installation. Just bolt it on, and you’re back on the road.

Important Notes

Now, a heads up: this converter is for racing competition only. It’s not street legal, so if you’re planning to cruise around town, you’ll want to look elsewhere. You’ll need to sign a Vehicle Compliance Waiver before you can buy it, which you can do here.

This isn’t just any part; it's from MagnaFlow, a brand that knows its stuff when it comes to exhaust technology. They design their converters to meet OEM specs, so you can trust that it’ll keep your engine happy without throwing any codes.

To wrap it up, if you’ve got a 2005-2009 Chevrolet Equinox or a 2006-2009 Pontiac Torrent, this MagnaFlow catalytic converter is a solid choice. It’s straightforward, reliable, and gets the job done without any fuss.
